BETWEEN ART AND FUNCTIONALITY

For his exploration in contemporary ceramics, Santiago Lena (Puerto Madryn, 1979) is recognized for his experimental pieces that establish a deep connection with nature and the organic transformations of clay.

His work stands out for its breadth, including utilitarian pieces, artistic objects, and installations. Additionally, the use of different clays, experimentation with glazes, and firing processes are notable.

He has exhibited in major cultural centers such as Fundación PROA, the Kirchner Cultural Center in Buenos Aires, the Emilio Caraffa Museum in Córdoba, and art galleries like El Gran Vidrio (Córdoba), Tokonoma (CABA), Siesta (Barcelona), and Abre (Córdoba), among others. His work is part of various private and corporate collections.
